| First impression from Marilyn Nagano Schlief ,
Instructor, English Language Center Michigan State University East Lansing, Michigan Thank you for this opportunity to visit Nagoya Academy, where teachers and students experience the role of technology and learn about its importance in worldwide communication. It has been almost twenty years since Mr. Kurihara, Principal, and I first met, engaging our students in video-conferencing activities between Nagoya and Garden City, Michigan. It is impressive to see how Nagoya Academy encourages students to learn the importance of integrating world languages and new technologies throughout the curriculum for future work, while maintaining Japanese values and etiquette (kimono, etc.) for the workplace. Best wishes to all students and teachers. Thank you for your hospitality during my visit. --Sincerely, Marilyn Schlief
